We all opened until a birthday or Christmas present and began to look confused because we had absolutely no idea what it was. For me, it was the year my mother went the unconventional route and Christmas gift created a miniature tree that sat under our traditional tree was decorated with IOUs. Anyway, it's the thought that counts, and it ended up being the gift that kept on giving.
For this little girl, she could not believe her eyes when she opened an old layer box and found what she thought was a little hamster. Despite his feelings that his mother had brought home a new hamster, the mood of the girl hardly changes when Mom tells him that the rodent is actually a canine.
Honestly, she probably would have been pumped anyway.
We all have bad days. I'm in my 20s and still can not call the sport by name half the time. "You know ... the one with the ball!"
