From dolls with removable legs to caress the rocks, there are a lot of weird toys out -low.
Fortunately, there are old standbys that are far less strange, like blocks, toy cars and train sets. Well, maybe not the last. While toy trains are usually quite harmless, Marc Settle the BBC just met a disconcerting secret of a train set.
Take a look at what he then discovered he placed around the house.

It seems crazy, but here's what happens.
what you see in this video is the Jastrow illusion. Discovered in 1892 by psychologist Joseph Jastrow, this illusion affects the viewer's perception of the length. Since the longer side of the lower part is located against the shortest side of the upper part, it appears that the bottom part is greater. If you were to line up the long sides of the two pieces, however, you realize that they are both the same size.
Watch this video for a demonstration.
