Australia and spiders go together just like peanut butter and jelly. Which is why it was a surprise that yet another new species of creepy-crawly was discovered in Queensland earlier this month. This particular species of spider ... well, let's just say you're not even sure of himself while taking a bath.
Meet Dolomedes briangreenei Brian or just for short. Here it easily paces out on the water in search of a meal.

Brian can slide along of the surface of the water. The guy can even remain submerged up to an hour as they hunt insects, fish and cane toads

Although their bite is not dangerous to humans, they are certainly a disturbing spectacle to meet when you take a bath in a river or stream.
