Anyone who has obtained a US high school diploma has probably had the pleasure of dissecting a animal biology class. Usually, frogs are in the program, but sometimes the animal of choice is a cat. Generally, these dissections are treated as solemn and respectful business. Other times, however, they can go off the rails. That's what I like to think is happening in the video below, which shows a biology class at Winston Churchill High School in San Antonio, Texas, using the intestines of a cat to play jump rope.
Apparently, the teacher said it was to test the tensile strength, but I think there are better ways to do that by hosting of a morbid game of rope skipping.
What's even crazier is that this is not the first time this has happened!
As you can imagine, PETA is not happy with what is happening at Winston Churchill High School. They have petitioned the school district to take action against the teacher. So far, as of this writing, district officials defend the teacher and students.
