controlled demolition is an amazing thing to see. When a building needs to come down, engineers spend a lot of time planning the demolition so that nobody gets hurt. There is something exciting thing to see an accident of soil structure, so that crowds usually gather around to watch.
But this demolition is almost artistic. Two fireplaces were to be demolished, and what these people chose to do with them will give you a whole new appreciation for engineering.
