Since May, an ethereal sculpture seemed to float above Rose Kennedy Greenway in Boston. It covers the space where an elevated road once separated the waterfront area of the city center of the city, and level 0 feet above.
The title of this sculpture is as if it were already here , and it was created for the public art program of the city by sculptor Janet Echelman. She used, a special light string which has a resistance 15 times that of steel, and still swings corrugations gently in the slightest breeze.
The monumental installation is an interpretation and a tribute to the history of Boston and its progress.

The sculpture also looks different based on light. During the day, it almost melts into the sky.
