About one in six Americans facing hunger, and unfortunately, households with children a higher rate of hunger than households without them. Perhaps the most pressing issue in our country and in the world, hunger ruined thousands of lives every day.
And that is why Starbucks has decided to launch a program to help eradicate hunger in our country. If you've ever worked in food service, you know how much perfectly good food is wasted because of sanitation laws. Fortunately, organizations like food and gift Login Feeding America go beyond to get the most from this food as possible. With Starbucks stores around the nation, they hope to feed thousands of people in need.
Starbucks partners with these organizations to donate millions of meals prepared for people suffering from hunger across the United States.

hunger ending the good may seem an unattainable goal at the moment, but with programs like this, we're definitely moving in the right direction. Hopefully, larger players in the food service industry follow suit!
