I do not think there is anything more depressing than seeing melted, the soupy ice cream sitting In a bowl. It's like watching incredible potential of something spoiled. Nobody likes to look and they certainly do not want to eat.

Mmmm ... that sounds delicious. I intentionally melted ice cream that I can make this cake ... but the ice cream is so delicious. I'M SO CONFLICT! I WANT BOTH! Maybe I'll put fresh ice cream on top of my melted ice cream cake. Bingo!
