In this seemingly ordinary statue of the 18th century of Jesus Christ, known as the Lord of Patience, is a terrifying secret. Just looking at the statue, you would guess that there is something horrifying hiding inside.
The researchers radiographier the statue in an effort to learn more about it, when they made the discovery. They got a little more than they bargained for when learning about The Lord of Patience: his teeth are completely and 100% human teeth. On a dead person.

The teeth are probably not face any significant religious. The practice of parishioners sacrifice their hair to make statues of realistic saint was fairly common at the time. Which means it is not a leap to assume that someone could do the same with their teeth.

I just hope that the teeth were actually given to happy . If you went to Catholic school, you know priests and religious can be quite terrifying.
