If you're lucky, you'll never think the disease Parkinson.
Unfortunately, life does not work like that and there is a chance that one day you or someone you love is afflicted by it. Parkinson used to be as close to the death penalty as you could get. It is a neurological disease that eats away your motor functions until it kills you.
Until recently, there was not much anyone could do to treat the disease or stop its progression. However, in the last decade, a number of viable treatment options have become available to the average person. A man who took advantage of these treatments to maintain its quality of life is a New Zealander Andrew Johnson appointed. Johnson was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson s' in 09.
Between 2012 and 2013, Johnson underwent surgery to implant a device in his brain control his symptoms.

now that is amazing. At no other time in history would be something like this is even remotely possible. It is an incredible time to be alive.
