There is no secret that when it comes to debilitating condition, Parkinson's disease among the worst.
diagnosis of this condition is particularly devastating because the prognosis is usually grim. There is a procedure, however, which has been proven to help patients cope with their symptoms. It is known as deep brain stimulation (DBS). Doctors treat tremors, rigidity and tremor associated with Parkinson's disease by implanting neurostimulators that activate parts of the brain that control movement.
This is Andrew Johnson. He suffers from Parkinson's disease, tremors and, once made it impossible for him to go about daily life.
And if he did not get help, his symptoms would only become more severe over time.
After the procedure DBS, however, he regained control its movements. Essentially disappeared tremors.
