Something strange was recently discovered on an ancient statue Buddhist, located at Drents Museum in the Netherlands: there is a mummy inside. No one knew when the statue first arrived, but after investigation, they realized it contained the body of a Buddhist monk.
The museum sent the ancient artifact out of Meander Medical Center ( Meander Medisch Centrum in Dutch) to the statue through a CT scanner. They hoped to get a clear picture of the mummy inside. View photos of the statue mummy below.

The museum thought it was just a statue. Now it is known that the statue contains the mummy Liuquan Buddhist master.

to obtain a clearer picture of the mummy inside the statue, the Meander Medical Centre put the statue by a scanner.

researchers found old pieces of paper with old Chinese characters inside mummy (where his organs were once). The writings are not yet fully explained.
