There are about 764,000 people in the US living with cerebral palsy .
There is a debilitating disease that limits muscle control, difficulty of motor skills and balance, and can even cause speech disorders. While babies of more than three thousand are born with it, many still do not know about the congenital disease.
Hunter Gandee hopes to change that.
His brother, Braden, suffers from CP, and awareness raising his brother's illness, the 16-year-old made nine year old boy 111 miles of his high school to the State Capitol Building in Lansing, Michigan.
Gandee Hunter is a sports Illustrated Athlete of the Year ...
More importantly, it is a big brother.
Gandee brother, Braden, has cerebral palsy.
Together, they hope to inform people about the debilitating disease. This year in particular, Gandee brought his brother 111 miles in order to raise public awareness.
The journey began in high school Gandee in Temperance, Michigan, and concluded at the State Capitol Building in Lansing, Michigan.
brothers participated in similar walks three consecutive years and called the trip "Swagger cerebral palsy."
they got the support of the community and their families, and it's pretty clear they've accomplished their goal.
When it came to the "finish line" Braden crossed under his own volition to the aid of a walker. It was certainly a hot end in the heart of the event.

If we had more people to do things like Gandees, we would certainly live in a more conscious and friendly world. Let's hope that their message will spread, and perhaps one day there will be a cure for CP.
