For many expectant parents, seeing their baby to be ultrasonically for first time is an emotional moment. But for 30 years Tatiana Guerra, that moment was something she thought she would ever experience. When she went for a routine ultrasound, she should see her son. This is because it lost in the age to 17.
But there was a surprise for her this time. His doctors have teamed up with a team of 3-D printing and created a printed sculpture based on the ultrasound image. This allowed Guerra to touch the image of the face of his son and experience what it would look like before the big day.
Guerra had no idea what to expect when the doctor handed her sculpture.
