Most people are aware of common diseases and conditions that can kill - things like Ebola, various cancers, etc. sure. But what we do not normally consider are the conditions that seem harmless but can actually be quite deadly.
As it stands, there are many things that cause death in the world, for most part, we see that the common ailments. Some of these conditions simply require early detection, for others, it is much more difficult to determine whether they will be more or less aggressive from the start. See below if you're just paranoid or is there some truth to that cough leading to your death.
1. Sleep deprivation

from heart attacks to car accidents and diabetes, sleep deprivation is actually much more dangerous than some may think. Aside from the side effects of not getting enough sleep, a study from the University of Chicago has shown that, after a number of days without sleep, the subjects tested (laboratory rats) died.
2. Ear infections

Everybody gets ear aches at one time or another, right? Get it checked out ASAP! Apparently, there are some unusual ear infection called necrotizing (malignant) external otitis that can cause intracranial complications leading to death.
3. Sinus Infection

Frontal or sphenoid sinusitis can lead to brain infection spread by anaerobic bacteria that can be very deadly.
4. Constipation

Believe it or not, this painful condition actually causes an average of 28 deaths in the US each year
5. Dehydration

not drinking enough water can lead to many health complications. In cases of severe dehydration and death can occur.
6. Stress

in Japan, overwork is so common that there is a term for death by overwork, karoshi. But it is not only widespread in Japan - China has a problem, too. According to China Youth Daily, 0,000 people die annually from overwork.
7. Diarrhea

diarrhea is a huge cause of death worldwide. In 02, 1,500 Americans died from the bowel disease, and millions of people around the world were victims too.
8. The flu

You can not think the flu is all that scary, but in reality it is quite a deadly disease. In the US alone, it causes an average of 36,000 deaths per year.
9. Cough

a pertussis or whooping cough begins as a mild cough, but develops into something much more dangerou, killing about 295,000 people a year worldwide.
Fortunately, some of them are certainly preventable and avoidable than others. And we should not all constantly assume that any illness is the worst, but it never hurts to be safe and double-check. Remember, the doctor knows best.
