today, however, we know that there is no excuse. Fruits and vegetables are key ingredients to a healthy diet, providing a plethora of vitamins and antioxidants that keep us live long and happy lives.
But it turns out, there may be a big reason why we did not want 't realize ... some of these fruits and vegetables are quite dangerous to our health.
A recent report by the Environmental Working Group says these 12 fruits and vegetables are incredibly sensitive to harmful pesticides. Chemicals have been linked to hormonal problems, cancer and other diseases. So before eating these foods certainly give them a good wash.
Here are the fruits and vegetables of "The Dirty Dozen", ranked from least contaminated.
