You may have heard of maize which will be the knee-high by the fourth of July, but this farm in New Jersey has greater expectations. AeroFarms, located in Newark, New Jersey, is redefining agriculture.
The basic AeroFarms is to provide fresh fruits and vegetables and healthy to cities which might not have the agricultural resources for traditional agriculture. These farms stand over 30 feet tall and specialize in aeroponic technology. To put this in less scientific terms, these fruits and vegetables do not require soil to grow, and they use a lot less water than traditional farms and gardens.
