From the moment you bring your dog, cat or other animal home company from a shelter, you begin forming one of the most important links of your life.
But before the cuties make their way into your home, they nestle their way into the hearts of volunteers like those driven by Jesse Freidin portrait photographer in his project "Find Shelter". He was inspired to show the soft connection between the amazing human who give their free time and the animals are given a second chance at happiness because of them.
Each photo in black and white has a volunteer explaining in their own words what inspired them to make a difference.
