Celebrating the triumph of life by creating art out of dead animals seem enough against-intuitive, but when London- based artist Polly Morgan fact, you can see how the meaning of the decision made.
Morgan began using taxidermy in his work in the early 00s, and his sculptures display preserved animals arranged in slightly surreal and disturbing scenes that explore the inevitability of death. At the same time, his work examines the new life that flows from the death and the life cycle of the prosecution in the intertwined relationships between all living beings.

Some of his pieces are strange, as the chicks emerging from a phone receiver. the tiny worlds created for other creatures under glass bells are quietly unsettling. others are much more visceral and unnerving, like the flocks of birds that come out a deer carcass, or dead pig erupting with purple mushroom.
Although images like these could make us wince, intends Morgan is actually highlight the triumph of life. Although it uses the creatures are dead, their presence makes us imagine them as they were in life, keeping their memories alive. in other cases, as in the piece of pork, Morgan sets scenes show how the dead are recycled by nature to create new life.
