Even if you can not name a BB King song, there not doubt you heard the king blue at one time. "The Thrill Is Gone" or "Rock Me Baby" are just a couple of its (seemingly endless) classics. This musician who constantly re-set "the blues" had been performing for decades .
It was first celebrated in the 1940s for its classic blues skills ... but soon was adopted by the rock n roll fans in the 60 and 70. Over the years he played with other musical greats as Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Robert Cray, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimmy Vaughan.
According to its website, "Mr. King passed peacefully in his sleep at 9:40 p.m. Pacific Time on May 14, 2015."
the native of Mississippi has died in Las Vegas at home. There are two weeks, it was announced that Mr. King was in hospice care after suffering from dehydration (most likely a complication of diabetes) after several hospital stays.
BB King was a millionaire several times when he was 80, but the most important thing in his life was the blues ... and his guitar Lucille.
In the early days, he actually risked his life to save his $ 30 guitar fire after first fleeing the building.
BB King was loved and honored by fans worldwide.
He received almost every accolade in its field: 15
One of his most deeply affecting honors came in 05 when the Legislature of the State of Mississippi honored him with BB King Day.
