The end of the world is a scary concept, right? We tend to equate the possibility of the end of the race with the end of the world in general, but the truth is that when humanity dies, the Earth will continue chugging along without us.

This is fun (and kind of weird) to imagine what would happen to the planet if humans suddenly disappeared. Thank you to the good ol 'science and a little help people more in mind Warehouse, we can now consider what would happen to Mother Earth if she had to go without us.

In the early hours of the disappearance of humanity, most of the lights on the Earth would be extinguished because of the overall failure of the power plant. Hydroelectric power, however, would still function without the help of man.

Within the first few hours of humanity's disappearance, most of the lights on Earth would turn off due to global power plant failure. Hydroelectric power, however, would still run without the help of humans.

well, it honestly is a terrifying prospect. While this may be inevitable, just hope that this kind of disaster scenario does not happen anytime soon.
