The praying mantis is one of the noblest and most brutal members of the animal kingdom. Normally, the wrath of the deadly bug is reserved for other insects (and the occasional hummingbird). However, mantises are not picky when it comes to getting their next meal. They will, if the occasion, happily feast on human flesh.
The video below shows Redditor Blackaos123 allowing his pet mantis room briefly part of his finger during feeding time. Why would someone a creature to do this is a mystery, but I will present the video below for you without further comment.

This is incredibly messed up. This is exactly how the Apocalypse begins. The mantis gets a taste for human flesh, and it is exposed to radiation and takes alarming proportions. Before you know, we have a giant mantis race killer to treat.
