Resuscitation dead brain cells seems to be something of a science fiction movie, right? Well, maybe not.
The Bioquark company received a grant enabling them to stimulate the nervous system of the 20 brain dead patients to see if they can make brain cells to life. If it works, it will prove to be one of the greatest medical discoveries of all time.

The researchers will try to stimulate the upper spinal cord (the lowest part of the brainstem) to see if it will increase brain function.

Since CNS is bioelectrochemical, scientists hypothesize that stimulation of neurons with electrical currents could be the key to bring people "back from the dead."

No many people think it'll work, but it is fascinating that the researchers have actually attempted such a procedure. If it works, however, it will change the face of medicine forever.
